Extension to Suspension
20 November 2009 Compass Hotel Group Limited (“Compass”) requests an extension to its voluntary suspension pending the completion of a potential recapitalization by the Company.
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.2, the Company provides the following information:
- Compass requests that the voluntary suspension continues until an announcement to the market is released and this is expected to be no later than prior to the commencement of trading on Friday 18 December 2009. Compass, and its advisor BBY Limited are dealing with a short list of interested parties with experience in hospitality to supplement the board and that have the ability to participate in a proposed capital raising for the Group to strengthen its financial position and long term strategies.
- Compass is not aware of any reason why the suspension should not be granted.
Compass is not aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the suspension.
